PMP, CSO, Current Asbestos Level 123 & Asbestos Surveyor
I started my construction career in BC as a young female laborer during a time when it was uncommon. Over 22 years, I progressed to site foreman and then site management, gaining extensive hands-on experience and training in various roles. I became safety certified throughout my career and excelled in creating safety programs, handling all of our high hazard and high risk construction projects.
I have a strong competency in executing building projects small & large from multiple perspectives and roles.
I am passionate about construction, embracing it's people, processes, and professional standards.
I approach my work with a proactive and diplomatic mindset, always striving for win-win outcomes for owners, managers, workers, tradespeople, and regulatory authorities. After dedicating my life to General Contractors, I'm ready to switch it up and represent the owners directly. `

However in my experience I have seen certain institutions test positive for ACM's and were built in 1993. If you are involved with government housing, or on a native reserve in BC, I would personally recommend suspecting asbestos or lead up to 1995.
If you are about to have a renovation or demolition project.
Regardless of the buildings age. Demolition and Renovation is among the most dangerous work in construction. A hazardous materials list for a demo plan includes mechanical and electrical removals and as such should always be considered in demo of any building, any age.
